Two Doral council seats on the November ballot

Doral residents head to the polls on November 3, 2026. They will elect two members of the City Council. The vote decides who holds Council Seat 2 and who holds Council Seat 4. Both are municipal races, decided by Doral voters, and the winners fill those two seats. Candidates for each seat have been introduced ahead of the vote. That gives residents months to look at the field before ballots are cast. November 3 is the date to circle if you plan to vote in the city election. (Doral Family Journal)

ExpoMiami 2026 heads to Doral Central Park

ExpoMiami 2026 comes to Doral Central Park on Wednesday, October 21, at noon. It is billed as Miami's best business networking and business expo event. It brings business leaders together to connect, widen their networks, and grow their companies. The Doral Chamber of Commerce hosts, with a midday start at the park in the middle of the week. Spanish-language QuickBooks program set for October 19

A Spanish-language version of the chamber's bookkeeping course begins Monday, October 19, at 6 p.m. It is called Programa Intensivo de 8 Horas de QuickBooks Online y Bookkeeping, and it runs en vivo vía Zoom. The three-day program gives business owners hands-on knowledge they can use right away in their own businesses. The class, the materials, and the description are all in Spanish. Both bookkeeping sessions start at 6 p.m. on a Monday, so the schedule format carries over from September to October. It covers the same eight hours as the September session, five weeks later on the calendar. (Doral Chamber events)
