Coyotes are showing up more often at The Islands at Doral

The community is near NW 107th Avenue and 78th Street. Residents told Local 10 sightings had increased from about once a month to every few days, including overnight and in daylight. One resident said a children’s park was about 100 meters away.
FWC said its law enforcement division had provided educational materials and trapper contacts. Separately, its Wildlife Conflict Mitigation Program said it had no coyote-call records from this community in the past year. The agency’s next virtual coyote presentation is Oct. 6, 7–8 p.m.
Landmark South's 631 apartments get a $238 million refinancing
Torchlight Investors supplied the floating-rate, interest-only bridge loan to borrower JSB Capital. The Landmark South, at 6055 NW 105th Court, was completed in two phases, in 2017 and 2021. Its one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments average 1,017 square feet. Amenities include two pools, two 24-hour fitness centers, a business center, a pet spa and structured parking.
Tropical Smoothie Cafe has plans on NW 107th Avenue
The application names 10 Forward Inc. as the associated company. The chain sells made-to-order smoothies, bowls, wraps and flatbreads, along with breakfast items. An opening date has not been announced in the report.
