Best Parks for Kids
Playgrounds, splash pads, sports fields, and open space for Doral families.

Doral Central Park is the city’s biggest family bet: 78 acres with lake views, open lawns, playgrounds, a pump track, skate park, walk/run paths, and a major aquatic center. The water features make it especially useful in warm months, but check hours before planning around the pool or splash pad.

Doral Legacy Park is the most straightforward kid-and-sports park in the group: playground, splash pad, open lawn, picnic area, community center, and fields or courts for baseball, basketball, football, soccer, pickleball, tennis, and volleyball. The splash pad is seasonal from March through November 30.

Morgan Levy Park works for families who want a reliable community-park setup: playground, soccer field, basketball, pickleball, sand volleyball, picnic area, exercise stations, pavilion rentals, and free wifi. The current source noted tennis-court resurfacing, so treat tennis availability as something to recheck before going.

- Tennis availability should be rechecked
Doral Glades Park is the nature-leaning pick, with about 25 acres, a nature center, e-library, fishing pier, kayak launch, open lawn, playground, courts, picnic areas, restrooms, and a walk/run path. It is a better fit for kids who need a park outing with water, nature, and movement in one place.
- 7600 NW 98 Place
- Fishing and kayak launch: park opening to sunset
Doral Meadow Park is the sports-family option, with soccer and football fields, baseball fields, batting cages, a walking and jogging trail, and bikeway access to Trails & Tails Park. The current city notice says the picnic area and playground are temporarily unavailable during construction, so do not make it the first playground choice right now.
